Dominic O'Dierno (ODierno) serves as CEO of Amare, a business consulting firm in Portland, Oregon. Outside of his professional responsibilities, Dominic O'Dierno gives back to his community as a supporter of the Oregon Children’s Theater.
The Oregon Children’s Theater (OCT) dedicates itself to exposing young people and their families to the transformational power of theater. Based in Portland, the OCT traces its history to 1988, when Sondra Pearlman established the Theatre for Young People, an OCT predecessor organization that operated as part of the Portland Civic Theater. The OCT became an independent entity and took its current name in 1990. Since then, it has presented an annual program of child-friendly shows. Over the years, the OCT has attracted members of the Portland community with productions of well-known works such as the Wizard of Oz, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and Charlotte’s Web. Most recently, the theater presented a 2018-19 program that included productions of Ella Enchanted and Jason & the Argonauts. In addition to its shows, the OCT maintains an acting academy and works with educators to offer arts programming to students.
